What's Involved in an Automatic Transmission Service? Depending on the manufacturers recommendations, a transmission service generally consists of removing the transmission pan to replace the filter and inspect for evidence of transmission wear or component failure, flushing the entire system of old transmission fluid and renewing it. (Not just the oil in the pan, entire system flush)

Is automatic transmission fluid flush necessary?

Much like oil changes, transmission flushes should be performed to maintain the transmission system, which you cannot drive without. If you bring your car in so our technicians can complete this service, your vehicle can stay running at its best.
